#01 Sentul Curry House

This restaurant is located at Jalan Ipoh and was established in the year 1972. This spacious restaurant is famous for its curry fish head and can cater to more than 40 tables which is equivalent to 400 customers.

The restaurant serves a wide range of Southern Indian cuisine such as Curry Mutton, Fried Prawn, Curry Crab, Sambal Sotong & Chettinad Chicken. A must-have dish is the Curry Fish Head that is prepared using thick and fragrant curry with various spices.

There are varieties of curry and dishes for you to choose to compliment the rice meal. Apart from the Curry Fish Head, they are also well-known for their Mutton Curry. Pair it with rice or roti canai, and your meal is complete!

#02 Ah Yap Hokkien Mee

Their business had humble beginnings in 1960, where they only had a stall in the market for five decades before finally expanding their business. The company grew to have many branches and are mostly located in shopping malls for easy access to their delicious fare.

The pioneer shop located in Sentul is still one of a kind. This is because they still stir-fry their Signature Hokkien Mee using charcoal. Compared to their branch outlets, the noodles are chewier with thicker and flavourful sauce. The aroma wafting from the kitchen is what attracts so many diners to their restaurant.

Another recommended dish will be the stir-fried lala which has a unique taste as they add chilli powder with a dash of lime.

Next on the list, is a stall that sells non-halal Chinese style nasi lemak with home-cooked side dishes at a fair price. They are located just by the roadside of some shop lots, and the stall is very famous among the locals.

There are various dishes to choose from such as pork ribs curry, chicken rendang, vegetable curry, sambal sotong, prawn curry, fried egg and luncheon meat as well. The dry pork ribs curry and the sambal sotong is a must-try. Expect a long queue before the stall has even been set up as they begin their business for the day.

This is a popular restaurant among the office workers nearby. They serve a variety of noodles and western cuisine. What makes them special is a unique dish that the restaurant specialises in.

They sell Foochow Red Wine Mee Suah, which is hard to find in Peninsular Malaysia. This red wine mee suah is cooked with chunks of chicken, mushrooms and tiny strips of chopped ginger. That flavour of the red wine really brings out the flavours in the dish. The dish can be modified according to the diner’s request by reducing the liquid in the soup for a gravy-like consistency instead.

Three Little Birds is a coffee shop that is operated by the coffee lover from Artisan Roast. The café is located at Sentul D7 and grew popular with excellent quality coffee using their own roasted coffee beans. Their roastery is located in a separate room beside the coffee shop.

Apart from coffee, the coffee shop serves light snacks as well. There is also a special menu that is only available during the weekends. It is a decent cafe that’s worth the visit if you’re looking for a great cup of coffee and a place to hang out.

This classic European bistro is located in Sentul Park. They serve authentic European fare from appetisers to dessert, together with a wide range of beer and wine. The restaurant has a classy exterior and beautiful indoor seating with a shaded alfresco area.
