We hear they provide unlimited pork lard refills in 5 different flavours (Tom Yum, Garlic, Curry, BBQ and Salted Egg), too! Thus, making it a lunchtime favourite among meat- and pork lovers.

3. Loke Yun Chicken Rice

Chicken Rice is a national favourite, and there’s no arguing when it comes to Loke Yun’s Chicken Rice. The restaurant has been in operation since the 1970s, and they aren’t going to stop anytime soon either.

Enjoy generous servings of Kampung Chicken with fragrant rice, drizzled with dark soy sauce on top. Though pricier than most chicken rice stalls, the impressive flavours definitely make up for it.

The fragrant chilli flakes pair perfectly with the al dente noodles, while the poached egg gives every mouthful a nice thick coating.

Hidden inside The Garage KL, Gaffe & Co is the definition of a hipster cafe. According to their Instagram, the Kambing Bakar is one of their best-selling dishes, so be sure to stop by if your lunchtime allows for it!
