1. Upperhouse Kitchen & Dessert Bar

Inspired by fine arts desserts in Australia comes Upperhouse Kitchen. This place is by far the best among other Bangsar dessert places. Their dessert isn’t just beautifully flavoured, but are well composed too. We definitely suggest you try their Strawberry Watermelon Cake or one of their beautifully placed desserts on a plate. Pair that up with their in-house Kombucha tea, and it’s the perfect weekend.

2. Hanbing Korean Dessert

If you’re a fan of Bingsu, then this is definitely the place to be in Bangsar. In case you don’t know what it is, it’s essentially shaved ice with plenty of delicate toppings. Go for their Blueberry Cheesecake Bingsu which is their best-seller or try something more local like their Musang King Bingsu.

3. Namelaka Patisserie

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but what if your apple is just a dessert in disguise? At Namelaka Patisserie it is all about illusion with most of their desserts look like fruits! Once you cut in, it’s all about white chocolate, jams and compote. You’d not want to miss this one.

4. Alexis Bistro

Alexis Bistro has a great rapport in Bangsar, and it is especially known for its cakes, more specifically its Pavlova. That’s right! It’s safe to say that Alexis has one of the best Pavlovas in town. If you’re not a fan of that, try from their daily specials of chocolate cakes which are sure to make you come back for more.

5. Dew

Dew is all about delicate designs and intricate patisserie. It’s mostly known for its flavour combination on its tart. We would love to suggest you one dessert that is a must-try at Dew, but if we are honest, you’d want to try everything. You can also order a whole cake at Dew for special occasions.

6. Dip N’ Dip

Dip N’ Dip is perfect for all the chocolate lovers out there. There’s nothing delicate about Dip N Dip, just gooey, oozing chocolate to go with your crepe or your waffle. Dark, white, milk, they’ve got it all and although their best seller is the Triple Chocolate Crepe, we suggest you give other items a try too.

7. Frozen By Ken

Stepping into this store is like stepping into land in your fairy tale. Even the way they plate their ice-cream is beautiful. You’d want to make sure your cameras are ready for this place because you will want to Instagram every single item they have in store. To top it all off, every bite you take will take your breath away, in a good way, of course.

8. Jaslyn Cakes

Sometimes all you need is just a simple home-baked cake that is baked to perfection with a cup of tea. At Jaslyn, you’re getting all the traditional flavours and recipes – just like having tea at your grandma’s; if your grandma’s English. Whether you’re into the classic Victoria Sponge Cake, the Red Velvet or the Lemon Curd Cake, Jaslyn has got it all.
