1. Restoran 168 Wantan Mee & Curry Mee

This restaurant has been around for more than five decades, serving the locals faithfully without fail. As seen from the restaurant’s name, there are mainly two dishes here, the wantan mee and curry mee. Topped with vegetables, char siew, and comes with a bowl of clear soup with wantan, the wantan mee is served the traditional classic way. The curry mee, another local favourite, is served with fried tofu, fried bean curd skin and fresh cockles. If you want to have a try, be sure to arrive early as it is normally sold out before noon.

The bowl of rice is paired with spicy sweet sambal, crunchy anchovies, peanuts, boiled egg and cucumbers. Restoran Fu Lai Dim Sum is a restaurant that serves different kind of dim sum dishes from early morning until late midnight. Here, they serve perfectly toasted bread that comes with their own coconut jam. Other popular dishes include Hainanese Chicken Chop, Roti Babi, and Roasted Pork with Apple Sauce.
