A cold glass of milk, sweetened tea and a whole lot of chewy pearls that burst with flavour is a perfect way to combat our yearlong heatwave. To help you out a little, here’s our list of the 7 Best Bubble Tea You Have to Try in SS2.
1. The Alley SS2
For those of you who prefer a drink with more subtle sugar content, this bubble tea place will be right up your alley! Best known for its Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk, where the chewy tapioca balls are soaked in brown sugar for a couple of hours and mixed with fresh milk.
The dark brown sugar at the bottom of the cup hiding the glistening globes of the pearl paired with the white milk is breathtaking! We urge you to try a lesser-known but just as tasty drink called Drown-a-Bear Au Lait.
We know! It sounds gruesome, but dunking your chocolate pear lolly into the warm milk is so much fun. Now, you know why this place is the first-ranked best bubble tea in SS2.

Their Brown Sugar Series is a crème brûlée-style concoction with a layer of cream foam topped with brown sugar that’s torched until it’s caramelised. It’s quite a sight to see. On the other hand, if you do not have a sweet tooth or are looking for a drink that’s cooling and hydrating, try out the Pure Fresh Tea Series.

This Japanese tea bar concept store has brought in fair competition against the otherwise Taiwanese-dominated industry. What makes them different from many Bubble Tea establishments is they have a selection of healthy tea and milk drinks.
A must-try here is Chatto’s Charcoal Pearl Organic Oolong which, according to the store, has a cleansing factor from the charcoal. Be sure to take a calm dip in a cooling cup of their smooth Oolong from Japan.
