So, we have discovered eateries that serve delicious cheap food that is under RM10 in SS15.

1. Palate

If you’re on a tight budget, looking for cheap yet good food in SS15, you can try out this place as they serve pasta with base, according to your preferences (Aglio Olio, Carbonara or Bolognaise) or even fried rice, for prices ranging RM5 – RM6. You can add on side dishes without thinking much about your budget as you can add any items for as low as RM1.

Among the items you can pick from are fried egg, mushrooms, chicken sausages, chicken, chicken ham and baby squids. If you have a bigger appetite, you could try their three pieces of tiger prawns with an added RM6 to your meal. In this hassle-free restaurant, you can also enjoy set meals like French Chicken Stew and Sambal Cheese Chicken with rice, but they can get slightly pricier, from RM15-RM20. 2. Uncle Soon Fried Rice at Foh Foh Restaurant

You will surely enjoy this fried rice, especially after having a long day at class. Every bite you take, you would taste their ingredients separately. You can either pick the basic plate of fried rice that is RM6.50 or add barbequed pork or prawns.

If you happen to be very hungry, get their extra-large plate with both barbequed pork and prawns, and you will need nothing more than RM10. Yes, you are lucky to be in SS15 for this glorious taste of the Foh Foh fried rice. So, make your way down to this food court.

3. Ooi Noodle House

Knock out at this place early if you want to enjoy their famous pork noodles. The queue starts very early, especially during lunch hours. Patrons die for their one bowl of hearty pork broths with a ton of toppings that include minced pork, pork meat, leafy greens and innards that costs RM9.

With an additional egg, you will need to top up another RM1 only. You can choose the noodles of your choice from the usual mee, bee hoon, kuey teow or mix them up. This restaurant brings you back to the homeland for their local pork noodles. Don’t miss out!

4. Gold Chilli, SS15

If you have not heard of the Gold Chilli’s butter chicken, you are missing out on the SS15 food haven fun. They are so famous for that dish, and it only costs RM8 onwards and nothing more than RM10. You can choose if you want butter fish or beef, too. Just top up another ringgit, and you’re good to go.

Also, if you are not a big fan of butter chicken, you can try their wide variety of Chinese, Malay and Thai food such as their tom yam fried rice, Singapore fried bee hoon and many more. Come and pick your choice! But, consider trying their butter chicken first. You will be their biggest fan. You can also look out for their other outlets.

5. Yee Fatt Restaurant, SS15

We heard you, chicken rice lovers! On a hot sunny day, it would be great to have a delicious plate of chicken rice that gets your craving for more. Head over to this eatery and look for the chicken rice stall.

You can choose the basic plate of roasted chicken with rice or have the roasted or barbequed pork. The price ranges from RM5.50 to RM7 only. Definitely, within your budget. Another dish that you can try is their curry noodles. It is equally affordable.

6. Idobowl, SS15

This space is famous for its Indonesian instant noodles, Indomie. You can get a variety of Indomie dishes that you will not regret trying. Every dish is a must-try here! You should expect a generous amount of spices when you order their bowl of Indomie Signature Sambal that is only RM6.

It comes with their in-house red sambal and a side up egg which complement the noodles so well. Also, try their Indomie Ayam Balado, Indomie Seafood with prawns and squid, nasi ayam goreng Jawa and nasi pecel lele. All menus in this restaurant are within RM10. So, you will not regret coming here.
