They first invented a sandwich filled with cooked ground meat with grilled onions in between two buns. Satisfied with their first creation, they started to create more and more sandwiches and burgers for their customers. Their famous hamburgers were sold for 5 cents each at the time. The cheap and tasty burger was everyone’s favourite, day and night.
People kept flocking over to the White Castle Restaurant to taste each and every one of their tasty hamburgers and sandwiches. They were the respected legendary chefs of that era. They were loved by the locals, and their White Castle Restaurant was credited as the first fast-food restaurant. With their popularity, White Castle began expanding to other cities.
To date, there are more than 420 White Castle outlets that are run by the Ingrams and Andersons without a single franchise. All of the supplies are all fully supported by the founding restaurant itself.
In another side of the city, Chicken Sandwich claimed to be first invented in an American fast-food restaurant called Chick-Fil-A in the 1940s. The chicken sandwich made by Chick-Fil-A is made up of chicken fillings with pickles on a steamed bun roll. The chicken sandwich received a lot of love from the locals.
More fast-food restaurants later included a chicken sandwich and most of the chicken sandwich made as a signature dish for most of the fast-food restaurants.
