For supper with the gang, head down to The Burger Shop for cheap and tasty burgers. The menu is a spread for a food truck, spanning from the usual beef and chicken to prawn burgers and pita bread. Be sure to try their classic Beef Burger Special, a beef patty layered with a fried egg, mushrooms, cheese and perfectly caramelised onions. Be mindful of the signature black pepper sauce that comes oozing out.

2. Murni Discovery (Sunway Mentari)
Murni is known for its variety in options and sizeable proportions. From nasi lemak with a multitude of add ons to roti, noodles, sweet treats right up to a quick and greasy western plate. A second home to college students who can’t get enough instant noodles, Murni kicks up a regular packet of IndoMee into a full-fledged meal that would make you come back for seconds.

3. Boomtown
This street-style hawker centre sells a haven of supper snacks including grilled seafood, satays, and of course, nasi lemak. Another thing they are also known for, surprisingly are street style pancakes. Although they mainly use pre-mix batter, a simple double pancake topped with crushed butter chocolate-chip cookies, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream is a dream come true for a sweet supper.

4. Mamak Penang 101
Mamak Penang 101 never fails to deliver great food all day long, but what they do best is serve up a mean plate of fried mee. This stall, known for its low prices and hearty meals, has hosted many football fans, regardless of which team you’re on. Their Teh Tarik and Sirap Banding are some of the more requested beverages apart from their super cheap fruit juices at only RM3.75 for a tall cup.

5. Big Singh Chapati @ SS15 Subang Jaya
A crowd favourite, Big Sing Chappati serves up a great batch of roti and parottas to fill up your late-night carb cravings. Once you have a meal here, you’re bound to come back. There’s a reason Big Singh’s regular’s keep coming back, as it’s impossible to savour the entire selection here in one sitting.
To start with, you have 20 different parottas to choose from, and the rice selections are insane. They close a little early though, so be sure to come on time.
