Suri’s received orders in bulk where local hawkers would purchase in hundreds just to cater to the breakfast crowd. The sambal is so good that you will want pack after pack.

5. Nasi Lemak Goreng Chef Fauzey

This Nasi Lemak is a version with a twist! Chef Fauzey ‘goreng’ (fried) his Nasi Lemak with sambal sauce to serve his famed Nasi Lemak Goreng piping hot. Uniquely, the chef sells his dish on a food truck situated right behind the bus station in PJ. The crispiness of the fried chicken is ensured with a double-fried method and the sambal is worth noting as it is cooked for four hours!

6. Mamalee Nasi Lemak

Mdm Lee, the face of the recognisable restaurant icon has a love for good food and learnt from her mother-in-law of Peranakan heritage. The restaurant was opened by his son when he too uncovered hidden cooking talents and started selling unique versions of Nasi Lemak. Guests would come for their Buttermilk Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Nasi Lemak and also Nasi Lemak Lobster!
