Plus their Baristas are also equipped to hand you down some coffee knowledge.

5. Old Master Coffee

This hidden gem is definitely worth discovering when you’re in Penang. In operation since 1959, there’s a really good reason why this establishment is still standing strong after decades. They are known for their Signature Kopi O that despite the name, is nothing like the ordinary Kopi O you typically get at any stall. If you’re more adventurous, you would definitely want to try their Cheese Coffee that gives you just the right amount of creaminess, saltiness and rich aroma. Bonus point, we also love their cute plastic cups.

6. Macallum Connoisseurs

Walking into this coffee establishment might feel like you’re walking into a coffee warehouse. Rightfully so as to space they use, used to be a factory in the house. Not only do they have their own special roasting room, but they also have a few unique blends that coffee lovers will specifically love. We suggest you try their very own cold brew and if you’re bringing a friend who’s not into coffee; their rose latte is also worth a try. All in all, this is definitely a great coffee place to spend time.
