Bibimbap is a popular dish in Korean cuisine. It is usually available in most Korean restaurants in Malaysia. If you do not know what bibimbap is, it is a rice dish mixed with all types of vegetables and meat paired with their local sauce. The balanced combination created a healthy and delectable dish for all.

Difference Between Bibimbap and Dolsot Bibimbap

In short, both types of bibimbap are of the same concept, which is mixing rice with various vegetables, meat and topped with a fried egg over easy.

However, dolsot bibimbap is typically served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. In restaurants, they will serve it in either raw stone or clay bowl. At home, since it is not common for us to own a raw stone bowl, it is perfectly fine to use ceramic or clay bowl.
