Recipe: Ebi Mayo

  1. Devein the shrimps and wash them well. Then, wipe them with a kitchen towel to remove all water.
  2. Then, season the shrimps by adding sake, salt and white pepper in a bowl and refrigerate for about 10 – 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, for the sauce, stir some ketchup, mayonnaise and honey. Place aside until needed.
  4. Take the shrimps from the refrigerator and toss them in some corn starch.
  5. Add oil to a pan and fry the shrimps under medium heat until all sides turn crispy and cooked through. Then, transfer them onto a kitchen towel and gently pat them to remove excess oil.
  6. Wipe the pan and toss the shrimps back in under low heat and add the sauce. Fry gently for about 1 minute and mix well. Garnish with some freshly chopped green onions and serve. Enjoy!
