Next lunch, why not try something completely different like authentic Mongolian cuisine instead? This cosy Mongolian joint might not look like much from the outside, but once you tried their food, you won’t really have anything else to complain.

From 12pm to 3pm, they also offer affordable lunch sets that include a salad bowl, daily side dish and an ice tea to go with your food selection which includes Jjigae and Karae Rice.

3. Basil Pasta House

Not into Korean? Close to Choi’s Don & Dak is the Basil Pasta House where you can eat all the pasta your heart desire at a very affordable price – just make sure you don’t fall asleep at work after.  

Besides the normal Carbonara, they also have pasta menu such as pasta in white wine sauce and Japanese Venus Clam as well as the Squid Ink pasta with Black Mussel. If you want something a little more traditional, definitely try their French Duck Ragu Bolognese. We promise you won’t regret it.

Lu Ding Ji is all about authentic Chinese recipe passed down from generations so you would get items like Special Spices Chicken Hot Pot, Black Fungus, Chicken in Pigs Stomach and plenty other Chinese cuisines. Just be ready to feast!

5. Shabu Garden Restaurant

If Shabu-shabu is your thing then you will definitely love the Shabu Garden Restaurant in this area, especially if you’re eating with a big company. We mean, what’s more fun than picking out our favourite ingredients and cooking it in a steamboat together, right?

It cost approximately RM50 for 2 people (which is a bargain if you ask us) and if you’re a drinker, they also have beers! They offer Pork Bone Soup, Bakuteh Soup and even Herbal soup as their base, so it’s safe to say you’re going pretty healthy for lunch.
