  1. Add stock, garlic and ginger into a large pot on high heat.
  2. Once boiling, add it the green onions and ground meat of your choice. Let boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the rice cakes into the pot and cook according to the packaging. They will float once cooked.
  4. Remove from heat and let the soup cool a little. Add soy sauce, kimchi, sesame oil, salt and pepper.
  5. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with nori and sesame seeds.
